I really don’t like toxic sprays in my yard because we have pets and a little herb garden. I came across this very simple but safe recipe for killing the weeds that come up on the patio and driveway. It works extremely well in one day and has only 3 ingredients: epsom salts, vinegar, and a non-toxic dish soap.
It is worth investing in a pressurised hand spray bottle, otherwise it can be tiring spraying the liquid.
1 gallon vinegar
2 cups Epsom salts
¼ cup non-toxic dishsoap
Warm the vinegar a little so it will melt the salt. Mix together all the ingredients in the spray bottle. Spray the weeds fully after the morning dew has dried. By the end of the day your weeds will be dried up.
