At God’s Mountain Estate, all rooms are single occupancy with your own bathroom. Please select the package you would like us to reserve for you. You will pay them directly upon arrival. Additional nights are $50.00 + 13% tax.
Students provide their own meals during the training. It is advised to bring plenty of snacks and even prepared lunches to the studio each day. We have a microwave and a small fridge available. If you have a cooler bag please bring that along.
In Calgary and Parksville we do our best to provide homes where out-of-town students can be billeted. We try to choose locations close to the studio (5-15 minutes drive) and with local students where possible. Billets will receive $25 a night from you to cover miscellaneous expenses. Please select one of the options below. You will pay your billeter directly upon arrival.
A lunch and dinner meal package is available with Chef Alexandra Goodall. (Students prepare their own breakfasts.) All meals are vegetarian, celiac friendly, non GMO, 80-90% local organic ingredients tailored to the season. The program is intensive so we do recommend taking advantage of having meals prepared for you (minimum 8 people required.) There is a large outdoor kitchen for preparing your own breakfasts. No meals are provided on your afternoons off.

MEALS: At Terra Magia in Water Valley students can choose to have a daily lunch provided for $100 including taxes (no lunch provided on your afternoon off). Breakfasts and dinners are prepared by students. It is advised to bring plenty of snacks and even prepared dinners. Many students like to make potluck meals together. On the afternoon off we can head into Cochrane for fresh groceries. We have a full kitchen in the house and a small one in the cabin. Each has a large fridge with freezer. Specialty Projects: Each 300 Hour student completes a specialty yoga research project on a chosen topic such as Chair Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Yoga for PTSD, Yoga for Scoliosis, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Kids, etc.
200 Hour: Please provide your reasons for wanting to become a certified yoga teacher (up to 500 words)
300 Hour: Based on the SOYA 300 hour curriculum which components are of greatest interest to you?

I understand if there are not enough registrants for my chosen location, I may transfer to another location. If I am unable to attend in another location SOYA will refund my money in full on the return of the books and manual.
I understand there is a cancellation fee of $500.00 should I decide prior to the commencement of my chosen program not to attend. All books and manuals need to be returned before the balance will be refunded to me.
I understand that no refunds will be given should I withdraw from the program once the immersion or extended training begins. However, I am able to complete my training by attending at another SOYA location within 12 months. (Additional fees and taxes may be applicable at alternate location).

I acknowledge that I understand Yoga is not a medical procedure and the Yoga Teacher will not be providing a diagnosis of any medical problems or concerns, which I may have. I understand Yoga is a process of integration intended to facilitate wholeness, body-awareness and self-awareness. I understand that I am solely responsible for my health, safety and well-being. I agree that I will inform the Yoga Teachers of any health concerns I have. I will also inform the Yoga Teachers of any activity or movement which I cannot safely perform, and that I will not perform any activity or movement which I feel is likely to cause me to injure myself. I agree to hold the Yoga Teacher and the South Okanagan Yoga Academy harmless from any and all responsibility for any injury which I may sustain during or as a result of my Yoga sessions.
Upon entry into these study programs, I agree not to copy or adapt these lessons/materials in any way for use outside of the SOYA program without permission from SOYA.
